Valle de La Puerta Winery, located in the heart of the Famatina Valley, presents Rebelde, a young wine that joins the Artist’s Collection, a series the winery began with the launch of the Quinquela Collection.

Rebelde, the newest member of the family, comes hand in hand with visual artist Paloma Márquez, born in Chilecito, La Rioja —a city surrounded by mountains and vineyards that have long inspired her visual compositions. Among them is the piece that gives this wine its name: a spirit that stands against the system, takes the initiative to change course, and dares to look the other way—breaking patterns and asserting its freedom.

The release of this wine resonates with its name, offering an alternative perspective in a market historically crafted for connoisseurs. It reminds us that not knowing is not a flaw—especially when curiosity and boldness lead the way. Rebelde invites a new generation to step, timidly yet adventurously, into the world of wine, to uncover the story behind each bottle: from the vine growing in the sunlit trellis to the moment it meets the glass.

Rebelde is a 2020 young Malbec, intense in character, with aromas of plums and blackberries. On the palate, it feels soft and rounded, with notes of red fruits and a touch of black pepper that awakens the senses and defines its personality.
