PALOMA
MARQUEZ

Through painting, sound, and electronic arts, Paloma Marquez develops her own worldview, where the human figure acts as a module within a cyclical and persistent system. The character faces the environment, constantly challenged by it and by themselves. These ideas unfold and dissolve into pigments and minerals, into fragments of time that pulse beneath the surface. The images emerge as echoes of a world that transforms slowly, where the organic and the emotional intertwine with the geological.

Painting, artistic installations, and illustration function as tools—spaces of listening, territories where the visible and the latent engage in dialogue. Within them, there are characters, stones, books, and other eroded objects that become traces of a shared memory. Everything blends, settles, and vibrates again like a light that insists on remaining.
